My New Toy...MAC Pro Longwear Lipcreme - Goes and Goes

I don't do hauls on expensive makeup. And for some, MAC may not be expensive. For me, it is. That's my truth and I'm standing in it (thanks Suze Orman lol). When it comes to department store and higher end makeup, I like to build my collection piece  by piece by allowing myself little splurges here and there. And it has to be something special. I have my MAC favorites that I will always repurchase like their Lipglass in Lust and Lip Pencil in Chestnut and Cremesheen lipstick in Creme d'Nude.

Yeah this lippie may seem pretty one note...BRIGHT. But it's actually pretty versatile. You can apply very lightly or add a darker liner or gloss to tone things down a bit. I like pairing this lipstick with  MAC Prêt-à-Papier Lipglass which is a bronzey golden red. It creates a beautiful more normal looking plum color.

As far as the "longwear" of this lippie, it definitely holds true. If I'm not having mega sloppy meals and beverages, this definitely lasts all day and looks the same as when I first applied. Even with disturbances to the mouth area (?lol?), you will still have a pretty vibrant stain. And even greater, its not drying to the lips! It actually applies very moist and dries to a matte finish. Just the slightest bit sticky. 


Overall, I'm loving this lipstick. I'll definitely get wear out of this for the Spring and Summer months and beyond.
